Ohio Stadium tickets & upcoming events

Ohio Stadium, affectionately known as 'The Horseshoe,' is a legendary sports venue right in the heart of Columbus. Walking into this place feels like stepping into a sea of scarlet and gray, especially when the student section gets fired up, those fans are passionate, loud, and totally committed. I mean, who can forget the electrifying atmosphere during the 1996 last-second field goal game, where the crowd went wild over that nail-biting finish? Back in the 1920s, it was a big deal too, with a whopping 1.3 million bucks invested to build this iconic stadium, imagine that, a huge chunk of change back then. The place is always buzzing during big matchups, with creative signs and team spirit decorations filling the stands, making it feel like a true home away from home for Buckeye fans. The Media Center, perched above the field, is where all the action gets covered by media pros, if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of a TV crew setting up. Getting there is pretty straightforward; from the Westerville area, just hop on I-270, head south on I-71, and exit at Lane Avenue. Coming from the south? Same deal, I-270 to I-71 north and then exit. Whether you’re after front-row seats that put you right in the thick of the game or seeking those VIP sections with luxury perks, Ohio Stadium's seating chart is your best friend. And let's be honest, there's nothing quite like the roar of the crowd during a big game, it's an experience you won't forget, especially when the Buckeyes take the field. If you're into concerts or live shows, the stadium's vibrant atmosphere is just as electric, making it a must-visit for sports fans and music lovers alike.
